Some treasures are found in the long grass at the end of summer, when the flowers have gone and left their seeds behind.

At its heart is an original porcelain impression of a seed pod, a little gothic looking in charcoal on white. It hangs from a kilt pin style brooch, with swags of chain and beads salvaged from old vintage jewellery, given a second life

From the pin falls a long, drifting chain finished with a red bead, like the last poppy still standing in the meadow. It’s also a blank canvas: the bead can be swapped out for any charm you already own, whether that’s a tiny key, a pearl, a memory from your grandmother’s drawer, or something picked up on a trip. Make it yours.

Styling idea

Pinned where the tie would go on a crisp white shirt, it turns a simple outfit into something a little wild and a lot poetic. It also sits happily on a lapel, a knit, a scarf, a jacket, or a denim collar.

Measurements: Total length: 18cm | Pin width: 8cm | Porcelain pod: 4.5cm | Chain drop: 18 cm

Details

A loaded kilt pin, a little whimsy, a little punk. Swap out the drifting red bead for any little charm that takes your fancy or suits your mood.

Measurements: Total length: 18cm | Pin width: 8cm | Porcelain pod: 45cm | Chain drop: 18 cm

[28,49,31
94,55,73,95,96
post-898","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-brooches","product_cat-ceramic-jewellery","product_cat-whimsy-and-whatnot","product_tag-brooch","product_tag-ceramic-brooch","product_tag-ceramic-jewellery","product_tag-kilt-pin","product_tag-vintage-brooch","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
